Emily Probst – The First Shoot

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Emily Probst several times. Emily’s natural style, talent, and charming personality, especially made her the perfect model for my photo projects. Plus her ability to effortlessly switch between a range of looks and moods made the shoots so successful. Let’s review my first shoot with Emily, and look at the final photo results.

Emily reached out to me to be a part of a fashion/editorial shoot, afterwards we had our first photoshoot at a local studio in Orange County.

She arrived with a variety of outfits that fit our theme. Emily’s ability to adapt to different wardrobe choices would eventually show her versatility as a model.

In The Studio with Emily Probst

Emily began the shoot wearing high-rise jeans with a midriff top. She rocked the look and as a result she set the tone for the rest of the shoot.

Next, Emily donned a brown casual outfit, which is both simple and comfy, yet stylish!

For the third outfit, Emily wore a one-piece blue bathing suit. She looked stunning in it and at this point I knew the photoshoot would be a sucess.

The fourth outfit was a skin-colored bikini, therefore blended in with Emily’s skin tone. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but skin-colored bikinis are a popular choice for their minimalistic and natural appearance.

The fifth outfit was a black sundress. It’s a classic look that’s always in style, and without a doubt Emily looked beautiful wearing it.

The fifth outfit was a black bathing suit with a cutout pattern. It’s a versatile choice that’s always in style, and as can be seen, Emily Probst looked elegant and sophisticated.

For the sixth outfit, Emily wore a one-piece sports outfit with leggings. Because Emily was young and lean, as a result she looked athletic and stylish.

Finally, the shoot ended with Emily wearing a colorful bikini. This swimsuit featured bright and bold colors that were eye-catching as well as fun.

Wrap Up

Subsequent shoots with Emily only solidified my admiration for her as a model. It was because of her professionalism and attention to detail that contributed to the success of the shoot. As a result her positive attitude and willingness to collaborate made every shoot a joy to be a part of.

In conclusion, working with Emily Probst has been an absolute pleasure. Her natural beauty made creating images easy. Emily is no longer a model, so I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her. I’ll share more later from our second shoot. Be sure to follow us at @OCPix on Instagram. • Really good job in creating a variety of shots. How long was the photoshoot. With that many looks it must have been an all day project.

    • Yes, the setup at the studio, with the backgrounds and lighting takes about an hour or so, then the shoot itself was several hours. Most studio photoshoots take time and lots of planning ahead of time so it all goes smoothly.

  • How cute, love the sets. Really good job on the lighting. Do you edit this yourself or hire it out?

    • Thanks, we spent the time making sure the lighting was perfect for this photoshoot. Also, Emily looked great in the various outfits and was very photogenic, which of course helps during the editing. And yes, I do the edits all in house, we don’t outsource anything. For this shoot, the only editing we did consisted of cleaning any blemishes on the white backdrops and small corrections here and there. Oh and of course some cropping.
