Megan Felix – Photoshoot in Orange County
Megan Felix is a stunning model with a commanding presence both on and off the camera. I’ve had the opportunity to work with her on photoshoots several times in Orange County, in fact each time it was an experience I’ll never forget. In this article, I’ll take you through the journey of our shoot as well as give you an insight into what it was like to work with Megan Felix.
A few years ago, I was updating my portfolio and working on new content for OCPix. So I reached out to her and we setup a photoshoot at a studio in Orange County. As we arrived at the location of the shoot, I was struck by how perfectly Megan fit into the surroundings. Her natural beauty was captivating, and for this reason I knew immediately that we were going to create some incredible images.
Megan Felix In The Studio
As we started the shoot, Megan Felix proved to be an absolute professional. She had a natural ease in front of the camera, moving effortlessly from pose to pose. I could tell that she had a deep understanding of her body and how to use it to create beautiful shapes and lines. Her confidence and poise made my job as a photographer so much easier. Which was perfect, because studio rentals in Orange County are not cheap, so time is money!
We moved through a variety of poses and sets, each one more stunning than the last. Megan Felix was able to bring a sense of emotion and storytelling to each shot, creating images that were both striking and evocative. Whether she was looking off into the distance with a sense of longing or laughing and twirling around, her energy and presence were captivating.
For any shoot I do, it’s important to capture images with different outfits and backgrounds. And it was no different with Megan.
Versatility in her Poses
Throughout the photoshoot, Megan Felix showed a willingness to experiment and try new things. She was open to my suggestions and had plenty of her own ideas to contribute. This collaboration made the shoot even more special, and I was able to capture a variety of shots that showcased her versatility as a model.

As a photographer, I strive to capture images that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also meaningful and impactful. And working with Megan made this task easier, as she was able to bring depth and nuance to every shot. Plus, her natural talent and intuitive understanding of photography made it a joy to work with her, additionally I am proud of the images that we created together.
Aside from her modeling skills, Megan was also a pleasure to work with on a personal level. She was kind, friendly, and down-to-earth. She made the shoot feel like a fun and creative collaboration rather than a rigid and formal photoshoot. Her positive energy was contagious, and it made the entire experience more enjoyable and fulfilling.
In the end, the photoshoot with Megan Felix was an unforgettable experience. From her natural beauty to Megan’s talent and presence, everything came together perfectly to create a series of images that I am proud to have in my portfolio. I thought the pink background was done in post editing but I can see from the last photo showing the studio and lights that it was the actual wall. Nice use of the beauty dish and metering. Megan looks beautiful!
What part of Orange County was the photoshoot?
Yes, it was a little tricky lighting that background and making sure the pink color “popped” in the photos. The beauty dish helped along with the large softbox. Some photographers think they should only use one or the other, but not in this case. In order to photograph the model and the color of the wall properly, I needed to use both. As for the location, it was done in a photo studio in North Orange County that is no longer in business.
